A favourite blend for the Crabtree Crew summer drinking.
The 2010 Crabtree Arriviste is produced from a blend of approximately 60% Chardonnay and 40% Viognier .The handpicked fruit was sourced from our neighbouring properties in the heart of the Watervale district in the Clare Valley.
The fruit was hand picked and naturally or “wild” fermented in both older French oak and in tank to create a creamy textural component. Our Arriviste shows clean and crisp white peach and apricot spice and juicy refreshing acidity.
The 2009 vintage in the Clare Valley with its warm start to the ripening period has been noted as producing wines full of flavour and our Arriviste is no exception. Sealed with a screwcap to ensure integrity of product, enjoy this wine slightly chilled.
Serve with a classic Waldorf salad or flamed grilled spicy marinated chicken.
