2010
The 2010 Crabtree Zibibbo is produced from the Crabtree Estate Muscat of Alexandria vineyard block in the heart of the Watervale district in the Clare Valley.
The fruit was hand picked, sorted and cool fermented in tank. Our Zibibbo shows perfumed aromatics of faded roses and Turkish delight. With layers of juicy fresh acidity, the palate is vibrant and refreshing.
The 2010 Zibibbo is a little drier than previous vintages but retains the distinctive “musk stick” and tropical flavours renown for this style of wine. Sealed with a screwcap to ensure integrity of product, enjoy this wine icy cold in summer.
The “Zibibbo” or “Zibib” style is found in the southern regions of Italy and Sicily, a little similar in style to a Muscato but full strength alcohol and fuller tropical flavours.
Serve with spicy Thai beef salad or chilled melon with wafer thin prosciutto slices.
